SFC Europe 2023, organised by the Green Chemistry Group, took place from 14-16 May 2023 at the Novartis Pavilion in Basel, Switzerland.
Chromicent was involved with three posters and presented their work and their QbD and LCM concept in application to SFC methods to a wide audience.
Poster topics:
- ICH Q14 inspired novel approach to establish an SFC-based purity method for carbamazepine
- SFC meets SEC – 3 modes in one application
- Method development of a single SFC-SEC method for analysis of plastic additives (phenolic and non-phenolic antioxidants)
Compared to classical reversed phase chromatography, SFC methods have the advantage that almost all chemicals and organic solvents can be dispensed with – which, in addition to sustainability and environmental friendliness, also has a significant effect in the area of cost efficiency and occupational health and safety. Chromicent is continuously expanding method development in this area and we would like to point out here that we are one of the few laboratory service providers to offer SFC analysis under GMP.
On the personal recommendation of the organisers of SFC Europe 2023, it is with great pleasure that we will submit the poster and the accompanying paper on “ICH Q14 inspired novel approach to establish an SFC-based purity method for carbamazepine” for the special issue of “Drug Testing and Analysis”. We will of course keep you informed.
